In 2005 we welcomed 9 bred cows of varying ages and breeds to our farm. It was the first time either of us had owned a cow. We had taken care of goats, so surely a cow couldn’t be much different, right? HAHAHA! The stories I could tell about those first years are hilarious, embarrassing, disappointing, and victorious. We have a decade of cattle handling experience under our belts, but are still learning every day. Join me here as I share the highs, lows, and everything in between of our cattle farm.
